Final task

This is just to start because this chubby boy looks like someone we know hahaha. Well, let's get into business!

A)Knowledge gained.
Uff, where do I start? At first, I had a vague notion about how to use internet tools with education. I did not know how to relate them, but now, I have acquired new knowledge, and I know that it will help me in a future. This has been a very interesting course. Since we started with blogger, I learned a lot of things. I managed myself well in order to improve any skill I have studied. I can use different tools and its complements such as voxopop, voicethread, prezi, hot potato, this tool blogger, google docs and all those sites that we have studied, and I have even discovered some by my own. I am sure that I am very familiar to relate education and technology now.

B) What attitude must be needed to work with online tools.
Discipline, why? You have a lot of freedom on the internet, but it depends entirely on you how to use it properly. You can have many important assignments as student, but if you are addicted to other sites like Facebook, it will be hard for you to focus on your tasks. Another attitude is to have an open mind to create and to get a good use out of any internet tool. There is no need to search for any activity online if you can create it.

C)How these tools can be implemented in other subjects. Give specific examples, please.
Well, in my opinion, blogger, looseleaves, storybuilder and others about writing could be used on Grammar and Composition to write essays and solve exercises. Voicethread and voxopop can be used on the English courses (advanced I and II, intermediate I and II) because you can encourage them to speak in order to develop accuracy or fluency depending on what you want to focus. Storybuilder can be used on readings and conversations in English I and II as well since you can write a summary of the books or short stories you read. Prezi can be used in almost all the subjects since you can have a very nice presentation not using only Powerpoint. Everything you want to use in the courses will depend only on your creativity.

D) What are some things that should be added or left out in a future course.
Well, I consider that on this course, all the tools we used should remain, but there are others that should be added. The information was excellent because I always wanted to learn how to use prezi, and now I can .  To left out? Well, at the beginning, we were in group, so I think that the grade of each member should be individual as it was this semester.

E) Suggestions to improve the course.
I do not have too many suggestions because it was a good experience to learn how to use and improve our teaching style. The only thing that I would like to point out is that I liked the course and that I learned so much from it.

OTHER IDEAS YOU WOULD TO ADD AS FINAL REFLECTION OF THE COURSE.
Keep the same tools you use every semester, but try to get new ones that might be better such as voicethread or voxopop which you should decide on one. Well, that’s my opinion. Finally, I thank you for all your patience and comprehension throughout the course and for your teaching because I know that I am not the only one who learned so much. Cheers and take care.

Reading for the Jquizz

The butterfly is a beautiful insect. The butterfly is a delicate insect. The
butterfly is a beautiful and delicate insect.
The butterfly has four thin wings. The wings have many different colors on
them.
As time passes, the colors on its wings fade. This means they lose color,
and are not as bright. Sunlight can make things fade. For example, an old car
that sits in the sun will lose its color.
Butterflies live all over the world. Most butterflies live where it is very warm
and not too dry.
