Voxopop is a very good tool to create a talkgroup where you can share with your students through audio only. So far, I have been interacting with my groupmates through their talkgroup and mine. We have discussed some topics, and it has been very nice. I would apply it with my studies to have a different way to teach and learn using voxopop. In this way, students would get a new experience in the learning process. Something useful of this is the fact that they can acquire fluency in their speaking skill.
On the other hand, we have voicethread which in my oppinion is better than the voxopop for many reasons. One of them is that in voicethread, you can record a video or upload it; also, you can record only your voice or write a comment about an image that you upload. Voicethread is very helpful to interact in a better way with your group. Students may find it very interesting and interactive as well. It is a new option to teach and help them lose their shyness to speak besides helping them improve their speaking or writing skills.
These two tools are very useful, but it will depend only on how you use them and how you apply them to teach.

Nice tools have we here! But I have to be sincere....I rather Voicethread. It is better and more complete than Voxopop. Voicethread is easier to work on, and also has more tools! Nice comparison Gustavo!
ResponderEliminarNice view point! As well as you and Marvin, I prefer to use Voicethread since it provides very cool tools to share your ideas, thoughts, and opinion; furthermore, it is more attractive than Voxopop. This last mentioned does not give you the versatility the first one gives. You might upload a video, a simple image, or just a recording. Definetely, Voicethread is the best of those two!
